At Moredun, we support 7 individuals who live in their own homes in the Gilmerton area of Edinburgh. In this service, you’ll support individuals with mental health concerns, autism and physical disabilities to live independently in their own homes. The people we support enjoy a wide range of activities, including socialising, watching movies, shopping, cooking, sports, music and travelling. They are always up for trying new things and we are looking for inventive people who are up for the challenge. At times, the individuals we support can be challenging. Experience of using Positive Behaviour Support would be beneficial in this team.
Responsibilities
- Medication administration
- Cooking and home maintenance
- Social support and support to achieve personal goals
- Finance management
Our teams provide support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so we ask for flexibility to work a variety of shifts including days, waking nights and sleepovers. Some weekend availability would be beneficial!
Our Shift Patterns Can Vary But Are Generally:
- 8am - 10pm
- 9am - 7pm
- 8am - 2.30pm
- 2.30pm - 10pm
- 10pm - 8am (Sleepover)
