Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
We are four gentlemen that have lived together for some time, we are all very different but get along well. Two of us are very independent and require little support but some need a little physical assistance to get around the house and out and about. We have different challenges in life which include visual and hearing impairment, autism and learning disabilities.
What Is important to us:
- We enjoy outdoor activities, walks in the park, watching sports and fun days out in the sun
- We enjoy going to the pub and playing pool
- We have a love of music
- We are fun loving, kind, caring, considerate, respectful of other people's personal space and belongings
- We enjoy spending time with people that are patient, understanding and kind
- We live in a two storey house with our own bedrooms and share all other parts of the house, we like to have dinner together and spend time chatting to each other.
Other Information:
There is always at least 3 colleagues on shift; the shifts are 8am to 8pm and waking nights are 8pm to 8am. Our team are trained in hearing impairment, autism and learning disabilities.
