Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

Join Our Bank Team – Support Worker Role

Location: Runcorn

Shifts: Early Bird: 7am – 9am (for staff finishing sleepover shift) Long Day + Sleepover: 9am – 10pm (Sleepover is 10pm – 7am)

About the Role

We’re looking for confident, experienced male Support Workers to join our Bank team supporting a sociable and independent gentleman who loves walks, bowling, and a good chat over tea!

What you’ll need:

  • Experience with challenging behaviour
  • MAPA & first aid training (or willingness to learn)
  • Patience, positivity, and confidence to handle tricky moments calmly

What’s Important

The gentleman we support prefers male support workers who interact with him and help him to achieve goals. He enjoys independence, social activities, and a good routine. Needs someone who can redirect and de-escalate when behaviour becomes challenging. Sometimes the people we support really need a male or female person to support them. For this particular role, a male colleague is required. This is a genuine occupational requirement as defined by the Equality Act 2010.
