About the role

Community Integrated Care is hiring two temporary support workers (37.5 hours per week each) for a minimum of 6 months, with the possibility of extension or permanent appointment. The role involves caring for five residents aged 30 to 63 with profound physical and learning needs in a community-based setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide person‑centered care and support to residents throughout their daily activities.
  • Assist with personal care, mobility, and health‑related tasks.
  • Administer and manage medication, and perform clinical duties such as PEG, catheter, and stoma care as trained.
  • Engage residents in sensory activities, walks, theatre trips, singing, music, and day‑out trips.
  • Maintain resident safety and wellbeing and document care activities accurately.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a support worker, care assistant, or relevant lived experience.
  • Training in medication management and clinical care for residents with complex needs.
  • Willingness to work in an environment with cats.
  • Strong commitment to dignity, choice, and respect in care provision.
