About Community Integrated Care
Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We transform lives by delivering high-quality, person-centred support that fosters independence and empowerment.
Our charity was founded in 1988 and we were one of the pioneers of the ‘Care in the Community’ agenda, enabling people to move out of long-stay institutions and live more fulfilling lives.
Since then, we’ve remained leaders in social care, providing bespoke support to thousands across the UK. Today, we support more than 2,600 people and employ 6,600 caring and committed colleagues across England and Scotland.
We have a proud history of breaking boundaries and are always looking for new ways to make a positive difference through bold ideas, innovative projects and impactful partnerships.

Are you seeking support work that offers variety and is rewarding? Do you enjoy working with people and want to make a real difference? This could be the ideal opportunity for you!
We currently have a Bank opportunity for a caring, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our team in Brightons, near Polmont, Falkirk.
In this role you will be supporting a young lady to live independently in her own home and work with a tailored care and support plan to meet her individual needs.
The lady we support here has a mild learning disability and more recently has been diagnosed with PTSD due to trauma. The staff team are trained in Trauma informed care, PTSD awareness and skin integrity.
There is a small team of staff, shift patterns start at 10am and end at 10am the following day. Sleepover shift is 11pm-7am
Due to having a mobility car, a driver would be preferred.
Maintaining a close relationship with family is very important and likes to access the community with daily drives and walks. We are seeking support workers who can be patient and build confidence and independence with supervision and prompting as well as being fun.
Healthy eating and a varied diet is also important. She also loves animals and a bit of pampering!
There are lots of activities in the local Falkirk area such as sensory centre, swimming, bowling, cinema and the house is situated in a quiet neighbourhood with a garden to enjoy in the nice weather. There is parking available and a decorated staff sleepover room.
“Sometimes the people we support really need a male or female person to support them. For this particular role, a Female colleague is required. This is a genuine occupational requirement as defined by the Equality Act 2010"
