We’re Community Integrated Care, one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We’re proud to be award‑winning, values‑driven, and passionate about delivering the Best Lives Possible.

With over 100 national and regional awards in the past two years, we’re not just making a difference — we’re setting the standard.

Our vision is simple: Your Life, Your Choice.

And that applies to our team too.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role

This is a full‑time opportunity (37.5 hours per week) in a vibrant, fast‑paced service that’s bursting with energy, fun, and purpose.

We’re looking for someone who brings passion, experience, and a sense of leadership. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Social Care and PBS experience
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Strong experience in mental health, autism, sensory communication, and physical health support

But don’t worry if you don’t have the qualification yet — if you’ve got solid experience in social care, we’ll support you to gain your qualifications while you work with us.

Training & Development

We’re committed to helping you grow. You’ll receive specialist training in:

  • Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
  • Makaton
  • Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS)

…and more, so you can feel confident and empowered in your role.

Meet the People You’ll Support

As part of the recruitment process, you’ll visit the home of the people we support — giving you a chance to connect, understand their needs, and see their amazing personalities shine.

This service supports 6 incredible individuals, aged between 20 and 31, each with unique needs including learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy, mental health challenges, and other complex conditions.

They’re full of life and love to:

  • Chill in the garden or swimmin pool
  • Enjoy BBQs, cinema trips, seaside visits, and parties
  • Dance, sing, and celebrate life — they’re loud, proud, and never afraid to have fun!

Your Role as an Advanced Support Worker

You’ll be a mentor, leader, and role model — supporting both the people we supoort and your fellow team members.

You’ll work alongside a large, well‑established team of support workers, offering guidance, sharing your expertise, and helping everyone deliver the best life possible.

If you’re someone who knows how to connect with people, lead with empathy, and inspire others — this is the role for you.

Your Values need to align with ours!

  • We Include
  • We Deliver
  • We Aspire
  • We Respect
  • We Enable

These aren’t just words — they guide how we support people, how we work together, and how we grow as a team. If these values resonate with you, you’re already on the right path.

What We’re Looking For

We believe that who you are is just as important as what you do. We’re looking for people who:

  • Have great social skills and can build meaningful relationships with the people we support, their families, and their communities.
  • Are fun, sociable, and confident — loud and proud, just like the people we support!
  • Offer a warm welcome to everyone they meet and help create a positive, inclusive environment.

A Place You Belong

We’re proud to be a welcoming and inclusive employer, where everyone feels they truly belong. We celebrate individuality and diversity, and we’re committed to creating a workplace that’s fair, equal, and empowering for all.

We have a really clear plan to achieve this called A Place I Belong. This publicly sets out the promises we’ve made to achieving this vision and how we will hold ourselves to account to getting there.
