Who you Will be Supporting and more about the Role

Working closely with the Service Leader and the Support Team, you will be responsible for supporting vulnerable adults living in the community to live the best lives possible. You will provide person‑centred support to help them live as independently as possible, including assistance with personal care, medication administration, financial support, attending community groups, preparing meals and participating in social activities.

Our Shifts

Staff are required to work a variety of shifts to provide 24‑hour support from Monday to Sunday. All staff must work some weekends.

Contract (permanent)

  • Week 1 – Saturday 3 pm–8:30 pm, Sunday 8 am–8:30 pm
  • Week 2 – Saturday 8:30 am–3 pm (potentially 9 pm), Sunday 9 am–4 pm
  • Week 3 – Off

What You Will Be Doing

You will support our people, who hold individual tenancies, as they live independently with support from staff. The Service has two stories with 12 flats in total. The people we support enjoy visiting each other homes from time to time and participating in activities such as swimming, going to the cinema, eating out, having BBQs and attending the local T‑Club. We are looking for people who are fun, caring and confident. We like our support staff to be organised, as this helps the people we support feel safe, and we value staff who listen and encourage the people we support to try new things.

What We Are Looking For

At Community Integrated Care, we know it takes someone special to work in social care, and that doesn’t always mean having experience. We hire based on values, welcoming people from all walks of life: seasoned support workers, Care Assistants, Veterans, those with lived experience, or even total newbies with a passion to care. Previous experience is not necessarily essential.
