Support Workers are dedicated and motivated individuals who go the extra mile to help people live as independently as possible. You will work as part of a team, performing a range of tasks including personal care, medication administration, financial support, community participation and meal preparation. The role is flexible and requires a willingness to support people in trying new activities, offering positive reassurance and guidance to develop independent living skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personalised support as outlined in each person’s support plan.
  • Support daily activities such as personal care, medication administration, financial tasks, community group participation, meal preparation and social activities.
  • Work 24 hours a day, Monday–Sunday, with some weekend shifts required.
  • Maintain a calm, reliable and respectful presence, building positive relationships with service users.
  • Support people in improving independent living skills and encouraging new activities.
Qualifications
  • Flexible, reliable, honest and able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Good communication skills and a genuine desire to support others.
  • Driving licence not mandatory but considered a strong advantage.
