About the role

Community Integrated Care is recruiting for a Bank Advanced Support Worker with flexible shift patterns to support adults with learning disabilities and autism who have complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support four individuals residing in a bungalow at Shillmoor, aged 20-60, with autism, learning disabilities and epilepsy.
  • Provide staff support during outings, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Assist with daily living activities and enable residents to maintain independence.
  • Work within an 8am–10pm, 10pm–8am and waking night shift schedule.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Level 3 in Social Care or equivalent experience in social care.
  • Strong experience in mental health, autism and sensory communication, and physical health support.
  • Ability to connect with people, be passionate about supporting independent living, and mentor colleagues.
  • Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support methods, Makaton, and Picture Exchange System desirable.
