Responsibilities

• Support two gents a community on a 2:1 basis.
• Provide 24/7 support, working flexible shift patterns including weekends.
• Work closely with professionals to follow strategies, guidelines and care plans.
• Use Makaton for communication; prior experience beneficial.
• Support a young lady with hearing impairment, manage distress and safety.
• Maintain the safety and wellbeing of the person you support.

Qualifications

• Experience in social care, preferably with people with learning disabilities or sensory impairments.
• Good communication skills and patience.
• Reliable, honest, and able to build trust.
• UK driving licence is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
