Responsibilities
- Support two gents a community on a 2:1 basis.
- Provide 24/7 support, working flexible shift patterns including weekends.
- Work closely with professionals to follow strategies, guidelines and care plans.
- Use Makaton for communication; prior experience beneficial.
- Support a young lady with hearing impairment, manage distress and safety.
- Maintain the safety and wellbeing of the person you support.
Qualifications
- Experience in social care, preferably with people with learning disabilities or sensory impairments.
- Good communication skills and patience.
- Reliable, honest, and able to build trust.
- UK driving licence is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
