We’re looking for a Learning and Development Administrator to play a vital role in keeping our learning systems, programmes and communications running smoothly. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is organised, people‑focused and passionate about learning and development, to join a supportive and purpose‑driven team. This is a 12 month fixed term maternity cover contract with attendance at our head office in Widnes at least once a week so the ideal candidate will be based within an hours commute of Widnes.

In this varied role, you will:
- You’ll be at the heart of our Learning and Development function, ensuring activities are administered accurately and professionally.
- Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing Learning and Development communication channels and acting as first‑line support for queries
- Providing administration support for our Learning Management System (LMS)
- Administering leadership and management development activity
- Maintaining accurate supplier records and ensure efficient processing of all financial documentation.
- Supporting the administration of Qualification and Apprenticeship programmes
- Ensuring accurate record keeping and high‑quality documentation at all times
No two days will be the same, and your work will directly support the development of colleagues across the organisation.
Our ideal candidate:
- You’ll be someone who enjoys supporting others, thrives on organisation and pays great attention to detail.
- You’ll also bring:
- Essential Customer service experience
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Outlook, Word and Excel
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- A professional, approachable and customer‑focused attitude
- Experience using a Learning Management System (though full training will be provided)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
- A proactive team player with a positive, can‑do approach
- Motivation and a genuine interest in Learning and Development
