Community Integrated Care is on an exciting journey of transformation and growth and we’re looking for a dynamic and driven People Specialist to join our regional team and help shape the future of our workforce.
This is a permanent part-time role offering 15 hours per week (ideally across Wednesday, Thursday and Friday or Thursday and Friday) to support our services across the North of Scotland and Highlands. We would welcome applications from people based anywhere across Scotland but you must be available to travel regionally and up to the Aberdeen and Inverness areas as required.
What is The Deal for you?
- Flexibility! You can work your hours over 4 days or 5 days. You need to be available to visit services and attend meetings at our regional office, but otherwise you can work from home.
- Competitive Salary: £30,000- £33,000 per annum (dependent upon experience) and a £3,000 car allowance (this will be pro rata to your contracted hours).

As a People Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of delivering our Regional People Plan, supporting organisational change, and partnering with operational leaders to drive performance, engagement, and growth. You’ll be a trusted advisor, coach, and collaborator—helping to embed a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Senior People Business Partner, the People Specialist will work within a region to provide HR support on a day-to-day basis. Liaising with and supporting the Senior People Business Partner to provide a comprehensive HR service to managers and colleagues within the charity.
Day to Day
- Supporting the Senior People Business Partner to deliver strategic people initiatives across the region.
- Leading on organisational change activities including TUPE, acquisitions, restructures, and contract transitions.
- Partnering with Service Leaders to coach and support them in developing and delivering their people strategies.
- Driving recruitment efforts in collaboration with the Recruitment team to meet workforce planning needs.
- Liaising with People Services to resolve HR queries efficiently and effectively.
- Producing insightful people data and analysis to inform decision-making and track progress.
Our Ideal Candidate
- CIPD qualified with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Proven experience in a multi-site HR/People role, ideally within a large or complex organisation.
- Confident in managing change, employee relations, and recruitment processes.
- Skilled in coaching, data analysis, and building strong stakeholder relationships.
- A proactive, self-motivated individual with high integrity and a passion for empowering others.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
