Join us as a Learning and Development Specialist, where you'll design and deliver impactful blended learning programmes that empower care professionals to thrive.
The successful candidate will support our colleagues throughout the Scottish Highlands, so the ideal candidate will be based around the Inverness, Invergordon, Huntly, Banff, Keith, Buckie, Portsoy, Fochabers, Elgin areas with regional travel expected and occasional travel to our head office in Widnes as and when required.

Day to Day (list not exhaustive):
- Create and deliver engaging learning interventions across Mandatory and Specialist subjects using a variety of formats.
- Support the full learning cycle — from needs analysis to evaluation — ensuring interventions are targeted and effective.
- Use data insights to drive compliance and tailor learning to regional needs.
- Collaborate with regional leaders and the wider community to ensure relevance and impact.
- Champion digital learning through our new Learning Management System.
- Mentor and support a network of regional facilitators.
- Lead on specialist topics, ensuring consistency and excellence across all regions.
- Contribute to organisation-wide projects that support colleague development.
Our ideal Candidate
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Essential: Health & Social Care S/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience in the health and/or care sector.
- Strong ICT and digital skills.
- Excellent communication, planning, and interpersonal abilities.
- Full driving licence and access to transport.
- Deep understanding of adult learning theory and social care standards.
- Desirable: Recognised teaching qualification (Level 4 AET, PTLLS, etc.), Technical ‘train the trainer’ certificates, Assessor awards (TAQA, CAVA, etc.), Experience in older people’s services or supported living, E-learning design experience.
