We are now actively seeking 3 x Temporary, Full Time Support Workers for our Ash View Extra Care Scheme in Huddersfield, HD2.
These positions are to cover Maternity Leave.
Position 1 is until 01/10/2026
Position 2 is until 31/01/2027
Position 3 is until 31/07/2027
Shift times could be:- 6.30am to 2.00pm, 7.00am to 3.00pm, 8.00am to 3.00pm, 2.00pm to 10.00pm or a full long day.
Full Rota flexibility is required for this position.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

A purpose built Extra Care Scheme consisting of 50 Self-Contained apartments - 40 of which are one-bedroomed, 5 are two-bedroomed, and 5 are adapted single person occupancy.
Based in Ash Brow, HD2.
The service has its own garden spaces for the people we support to engage socially together and get some quiet outside their homes.
The service has a large driveway to reach the main entrance with parking on site for staff, residents and visitors.
Staff are on site 24 hours to provide support where needed and in emergency situations.

  • We will want people who support us to be as independent as possible within our homes and promote social inclusion.
  • We will want people who can get to know us and have similar interests to get us more involved within our local and wider community.
We are keen to hear from local people who have an interest in supporting this local community initiative in delivering positive outcomes to the tenants.
This will involve all aspects of Care/Support to include:
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Positioning
  • Assistance with Medication/Meals etc.
  • Dementia Care
  • Emergency First Aid.
