Role Summary
Support Workers provide flexible bank/casual support (day and night shifts) to individuals with varying needs. The role involves spending the entire shift with the person you support, ensuring their well‑being, safety and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain consistency and routine‑focused support to meet individual needs.
- Engage with persons on their own terms and build open, honest relationships.
- Communicate with families and support circles to share information and listen.
- Adapt activities to foster enjoyment, independence and positive risk taking.
- Keep care plans and training up to date and raise concerns appropriately.
- Warren my commitment to compliance with contracts, CQC and organizational standards.
- Support persons throughout the day and night while respecting their privacy and dignity.
