We provide 1:1 support for 4 tenants in a unique bungalow with 4 bedrooms; tenants share a communal lounge and kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Allocate a buddy on your first day, ensuring you have an allocated person to assist in the transition into service.
- Provide all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role.
- Deliver 1:1 support to four tenants, ensuring care plans are followed.
- Promote personalised choice, independent living, wellbeing and independence for each tenant.
- Match staff to tenants to promote inclusion and personal choice being respected and valued.
- Work closely with families and other significant others within the support circle.
- Promote equality, diversity and professional boundaries.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all interactions and keep records compliant.
- Commit to completing all required training and additional training as needed.
- Commit to the shift patterns: 07:30-15:00, 14:00-21:30, sleeping night 14:45-22:15 finishing 07:30 next day, and waking night 21:30-07:30.
- Maintain a flexible and compassionate approach, support tenants to achieve the Best Life Possible.
