About the Role
Community Integrated Care is recruiting a Female Advanced Support Worker Specialist to support a young adult with learning disabilities, autism and other complex needs. The role requires flexible night shift patterns (39 hours per week for full‑time, minimum 24 hours for part‑time). You will assist the individual in a wide range of activities, including gym sessions, running, dancing, yoga, cooking, pet care and creative pursuits.
Responsibilities
- Build rapport and provide empathic, patient, and compassionate support;
- Promote an energetic, upbeat environment and encourage physical fitness activities;
- Implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and, where applicable, Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) strategies;
- Observe, communicate and document behaviours in a person‑centred manner;
- Participate in training and ongoing professional development within the team.
