Are you upbeat, caring, and ready to support amazing individuals with complex health needs and behaviours that challenge? If you’re nodding along, we might just have the perfect role for you! We’re on the lookout for a Female Support Worker to join our lovely team at Abbeyhill, right in the heart of Edinburgh. You’ll be helping 4 fantastic people (3 fabulous ladies and 1 charming gent) who live in two cosy, connected flats. What’s life like in Abbeyhill? Think music, dancing, arts & crafts, pamper sessions, shopping trips, holidays, and plenty of laughs! Our residents love trying new things, so we’re after someone creative, patient, and full of positive energy.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Helping with medication
  • Cooking and keeping the home running smoothly
  • Supporting personal goals and social activities
  • Assisting with mobility (hoist training provided!)

The details:

  • Relief position
  • Flexible shifts between Monday–Sunday - we are looking for someone to predominantly work days, with occasional waking nights on a relief position to cover holidays
  • 7am–9:30pm
  • 7am–2:30pm
  • 2pm–9:30pm
  • 9.30pm - 7.30am (waking nights)
