Are you an experienced Care Assistant or Support Worker? We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Support Worker (24 hours) and also Bank/Casual Support Workers to join our team. A driver is essential for this role due to the location and restricted public transport.
What You’ll Be Doing:
At our Dollar service in Clackmannanshire, we support four individuals with learning disabilities, mental health, and previous trauma. Your role will involve:
- Providing support 24 hours a day with shift flexibility including day shifts, back shifts, waking nights, sleepovers, and some weekend work
- Encouraging and assisting with day-to-day activities such as socialising, going to the movies, shopping, cooking, making TikToks, playing football, cinema, walking, games and barbecues
- Supporting personal development goals such as attending college and finding a job
- Medication administration
- Cooking
- Encouraging the people we support to clean and maintain their homes and manage their finances
- Responding to social situations in a trauma-informed way
Shift patterns for the upcoming month include:
- 0900-2100
- 0900-sleepover finishing at 09:00
- 0900-1800
- 0800-2000
- 2000-0800 night shift
- 1100-2200
