About Community Integrated Care

Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We transform lives by delivering high‑quality, person‑centred support that fosters independence and empowerment. Founded in 1988, we were pioneers of the ‘Care in the Community’ agenda, enabling people to move out of long‑stay institutions and live more fulfilling lives. Today, we support more than 2,600 people and employ 6,600 caring and committed colleagues across England and Scotland. We have a proud history of breaking boundaries and are always looking for new ways to make a positive difference through bold ideas, innovative projects and impactful partnerships.

Our Support Needs & Challenges

We support adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and mental health concerns to live life to the fullest – as independently as possible.

What Is Important to Us?

  • Resilient individuals who can adapt and support people through challenging times
  • Experience with behaviour that challenges – big bonus!
  • Knowledge of trauma‑informed care or autism – even better

  • Supporting with personal care
  • Medication administration
  • Home management, including support with cooking, cleaning, shopping and budget management
  • Daily activities – anything and everything the person we support likes to do is something you might provide support with

What We’re Looking For

At Community Integrated Care, we know it takes someone special to work in social care and that doesn’t always mean having experience. We hire based on values, welcoming people from all walks of life: seasoned support workers, Care Assistants, Veterans, those with lived experience, or even total newbies with a passion to care.

We’re proud to be an Equal Opportunities and Disability Confident employer.
