At our service in Banchory, we're looking for people to join the team who are interested in trying new things and supporting people to achieve their own personal goals. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to support these ladies to play games, explore their communities, go out to discos or enjoy a lovely foot spa. There is a mobility vehicle in the service so applicants with a UK driving license would be a bonus! The ladies we support share a large home with their own garden, where they can enjoy the nice weather and their lovely flowers. Our staff team are very supportive and experienced and also provide some support with:

  • Medication administration and epilepsy support
  • Cooking and home maintenance
  • Social support and support to achieve personal goals
  • Managing the finances of the people we support.

Our team provide support 7 days a week, so we ask for flexibility to work a variety of shifts from Monday-Sunday and this will include some sleepover shifts. The people we support like to be supported by people who respect them and their homes, but who also like to have fun! We like people who are reliable and honest and are able to remain calm under pressure, so they can support people effectively and build fantastic relationships. Our shift patterns can vary, but some examples of typical shifts are listed below:

  • 10am - 10.30am the next day (this includes a sleepover)
  • 8am - 2pm
  • 2pm - 8pm
