We are recruiting for Flexible Bank Support Workers to support one lady and two gentlemen who share their house in Alloa. Our team provide support 24 hours a day, so we are looking for flexibility to work a variety of shifts from Monday-Sunday, including some sleepovers and waking nights. The people we support have faced a lot of challenges in the past because of their learning disabilities, visual impairment and mental health issues, but this hasn’t stopped them from enjoying life! They enjoy lots of activities together, including cycling, spending time in their community, accessing religious groups, going line dancing, pub quizzing and curling. Individually, the people we support enjoy writing, listening to music, watching movies and chatting. The people we support are very motivated and always up for trying new things too, so are looking for inventive and supportive people who are up for the challenge.
Our support team are experienced and work well together to ensure the people we support are happy and safe in their own homes. This can include:
- Supporting with taking medication
- Cooking
- Assisting with personal care
- Maintaining the homes of the people supported and managing their finances
