Community Integrated Care is recruiting for an Advanced Support Worker, with flexible shift patterns. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced support worker to step up. You will support adults with learning disabilities and autism, who have complex needs, to lead the best life possible.

This is a complex mental health service - supporting one lady. Your role will be to support her in living life on her terms—building positive relationships, engaging in her interests, and feeling safe and empowered every day.

What are we looking for?
- You’ll Bring Experience in health or social care settings, specifically within mental health
- A positive, upbeat attitude and a genuine passion for person-centred support
- Confidence in supporting individuals with complex mental health needs and behaviours that require thoughtful, proactive planning
- An understanding or knowledge of positive behaviour support practices

Other Important information:
- Shifts - 2 to 1 support during the day working 8am 8pm
- Night shifts are 8pm till 8am. There would be some sleep in shifts available also
- The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 in Social Care and strong experience in mental health, autism and sensory communication, and physical health.
- If you do not have a qualification, you will need to have experience in social care.
- You will know how to connect with people and be passionate about supporting people to live independently.
- You will also be a brilliant mentor and share your skills and experiences with your colleagues.
We will develop your talents with a range of specialist training, including the opportunity to learn Positive Behaviour Support methods, Makaton and the Picture Exchange System.
During recruitment you will meet the people we support in their home. This will allow you to see their wonderful personalities first-hand and fully understand the level of support that they require.
