Join to apply for the Advanced Support Worker role at Community Integrated Care. We are looking for support staff who can support a young lady on a 2:1 basis in the community. This is a new and exciting opportunity for her to live in her own tenancy following a move back into the area she originally came from. She has a hearing impairment, so people with patience and clear communication skills are a must. This young lady can get distressed at times and will require support to manage this. Staff will be required to work closely with professionals to follow strategies, guidelines, and plans in place to maintain her safety. She enjoys shopping, cinema, theatre, and trying new activities to keep her busy. You will be trained in the use of Makaton, but if you have experience of this, it would be beneficial.

We provide support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you will be required to be flexible to work on different days, including some weekend work. Our shift pattern varies and includes: 8am - 3pm, 3pm - 10pm. Due to the needs of the people we support, a UK driving license would be extremely beneficial but is not mandatory. We are currently recruiting for full-time (37.5 hour) posts and will also consider part-time positions.
