Are you an experienced Advanced Support Worker with experience in Challenging Behaviours and looking for career progression? Community Integrated Care is recruiting for Advanced Support Workers in Inverness, UK; a driving license is essential for this role.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced support worker to step up. You will support a young gentleman with a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Mild-Moderate Learning Disability, Anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder to live the Best Life's Bolder.

Who you'll be supporting & more about the role: Join Us as an Advanced Support Worker in Inverness. This gentleman struggles with his mental health, with a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Mild-Moderate Learning Disability, Anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. He is looking for understanding and positive people to join his team to help him navigate his challenges and live an amazing, happy and the Best Life Bolder. A background in supporting people with autism and obsessive-compulsive disorder would be desirable.

As an Advanced Support Worker, you will help this gentleman with his routines, experiences in structure and ensuring consistency which is very important as he needs to feel regulated and safe. You will need to be highly supportive and trustworthy with a skill set that can build positive relationships which will be important in maintaining his wellbeing. He enjoys physical activities, especially badminton and walking, so if you share these interests then please get in touch as you would be a great fit. This gentleman also values his family and enjoys spending time with them.

New team members will be expected to undertake transitional work in Grimsby, prior to this young gentleman moving into his new home at the end of March 2026. This is likely to include some overnight stays. All travel and hotel expenses will be paid for.

Your values:

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 in Social Care and strong experience in mental health, autism and forensic background. If you do not have a qualification, you will need to have experience in social care. You will know how to connect with people and be passionate about supporting people to live independently. You will also be a brilliant mentor and share your skills and experiences with your colleagues.
