Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
We are currently recruiting for Support Workers to join our dedicated team in Balmedie, Aberdeen. This is supporting in a home which is a bungalow on ground level floor. Each person has their own flat with a sleep over room. The house is on a very quiet street with lovely neighbours. They prefer routines, structure and consistency in their lives. They enjoy listening to music, walking, picnics, swimming, ice skating, rollerblading, music therapy, sensory room sessions, reflexology, trampolining, eating out and recycling. We provide 1:1 support at all times. Shifts include 10 am sleep over until 10:30 am the following day. We also have a day service shift each day providing 2:1 support on all outdoor activities, these shifts are 10:30 am to 4:30 pm. You will be joining an award-winning charity, in an exciting role where you can transform someone else's life while transforming your own too! Whatever is your background, there is a rewarding career in care for you - one where you can follow your passions and learn new skills too. We are looking for relief staff and a part-time member of staff.
