Responsible to: The Board of Trustees of Aylesbury Foodbank
Salary: Β£35,000 β Β£37,000 FTE (depending on experience.)
Hours: Part-time 24 hours per week (ideally Mon β Thu with some evening and weekend work by agreement)
Annual Leave: 5 weeks per annum plus Bank Holidays (pro-rata)
Contract: Permanent
Location: Based at Aylesbury Foodbank Warehouse, with travel around the area served by Aylesbury Foodbank, and other locations within the UK.
Start date: TBC
This is an exciting opportunity to become Aylesbury Foodbank's first Chief Executive, leading the organisation at a pivotal stage in its development.
Working closely with the Board of Trustees, you will provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring we continue to meet the changing needs of our community. You will inspire and support our staff and volunteers, oversee the day-to-day running of the Foodbank, and ensure our services meet the standards of the Trussell network.
You will also build strong partnerships across the community, help shape our longterm strategy, and champion our vision of tackling the causes of food poverty as well as responding to immediate need.
This role is ideal for an experienced, values-led leader who combines strategic thinking with a practical, collaborative approach and is passionate about making a lasting difference.
