Due to a recent restructure within the Property Care team, we are seeking an experienced Plasterer. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance and refurbishment duties, with a particular focus on delivering high-quality Plastering works. A “right first-time” approach and attention to detail are essential to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standard.

Responsibilities

  • Completing Plastering works to a high standard.
  • Planning, organising, and delivering excellent quality works.
  • Working across the Property Care team.
  • Using a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) or tablet device to record job information.
  • Ensuring that works are completed to schedule and to budget expectations.
  • Meeting productivity targets showing commercial awareness and aptitude in your approach to work.
  • Ensuring that van stocks, materials, plant, and equipment are used correctly and safely, protected from loss or theft and are maintained in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
  • Participation on an Out of Hours on-call rota if required.

Our ideal candidate

  • Be a level 2 qualified tradesperson with extensive experience.
  • Have experience of working within social housing/residential properties.
  • Be a skilled communicator who understands the importance of being customer focused.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Be highly organised and capable of planning and prioritising their workload.
