We’re looking for an experienced and ambitious General Manager to lead a quality country pub and restaurant in Somerset.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional service, creating memorable guest experiences and running a successful business within an independent environment.
Working with a quality independent operator, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact, lead a team and build a pub that is at the heart of its local community.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience in a General Manager or similar senior hospitality role
- A strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service
- Excellent business acumen, with an understanding of commercial performance and profitability
- A genuine passion for quality food, hospitality and guest satisfaction
- The ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
- Experience managing day-to-day pub or restaurant operations
- A commitment to building strong, lasting relationships with the local community
- A positive, hands-on and professional approach to leadership
Salary & accommodation
- Salary of £35,000–£40,000, depending on experience
- Live-in or live-out options available
- The opportunity to work with a quality independent operator
