Responsibilities
The Environmental Service Partner will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitary environment in a professional and courteous manner.
Qualifications
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Applicants for this position should be able to provide service to others in a willing and courteous manner, foster teamwork with peers and other hospital staff. As an Environmental Service Partner, you will perform cleaning tasks in maintaining an assigned area of the hospital, replenish supplies and other dispensable items, transport/dispose of waste and soiled.
- No license required, high school diploma and or GED preferred, but not required
- Basic Safety & Equipment Operation/Maintenance: Vacuum Sweeper, Trash Cart, Trash Compactor, Industrial Washer & Dryer, Electric Beds, and Flat Bed Cart
- Respects the confidentiality and privacy needs of the patients, family, and staff
- Must have ability to read, write, speak and understand English to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Performs cleaning of areas assigned to provide high quality as required by Joint Commission and State Board of Health
- Must be able to lift, bend, push, and pull; requires standing and/or walking approximately eight hours a day, cannot have lifting restrictions
- Ability to see well, with correction, at a distance of at least 20 feet and up close
