Role and Responsibilities

  • Complete behavioral health evaluations and provide therapy to children and adults.
  • Work as part of an interdisciplinary team, accepting referrals from primary care providers and engaging with the patient population.
  • Consult with other providers, coordinate with psychiatric consultants, and attend team meetings.
  • Supervise unlicensed staff as assigned, meet productivity standards, and encourage client expression.
  • Perform crisis interventions, assess safety concerns, and develop treatment plans.
  • Evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify approaches as needed.
  • Support clients and families, stay updated on field developments, and gather community resources.

Administrative:

  • Complete documentation in compliance with regulations and standards, including intake, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D./Psy.D, LCSW, LPC or LMFT, licensed in Connecticut.
