We’re ecstatic to be recruiting for a digital Solutions Delivery Manager, a brand new role here at Community Gateway Association (CGA). This role will be key in driving our digital transformation strategy, continuous improvement, stakeholder engagement and combines technical acumen, leadership, and strategic thinking.
What will you be doing in this role?
- Lead the planning and delivery of business solutions that improve the way we work and the services we offer our communities.
- Manage a small team of Business Analysts and work closely with stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities for improvement, shape requirements, and ensure the successful implementation of digital and system changes.
- Take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of solutions—whether process changes, new systems, or enhancements—ensuring they are aligned to organisational priorities and deliver measurable value.
- Provide coaching and direction to BAs, helping them grow in confidence and capability, while also being hands-on in shaping solution designs, validating requirements, and managing project delivery timelines.
- Work in close partnership with IT, Infrastructure, external vendors, and service leads to ensure that our technology is usable, useful, and impactful—and that changes land successfully with end users.
What are we looking for in you?
- Experience leading delivery of business or digital solutions in a fast-paced organisation.
- Ability to inspire and support a small team to deliver high-quality work and develop their skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills—able to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
- Confidence in managing backlogs, roadmaps, and delivery plans, and adaptability when priorities change.
- Appropriate professional qualification or certification in business analysis, product management or project management or similar (e.g. AgilePM, TOGAF, Prince2, SAFe, SCRUM).
It is expected that applicants will live in an easily commutable distance to Preston (PR2) where our head office is based.

Working arrangements: This role offers flexibility, has the opportunity to work both from our gorgeous dock-front offices and at home. You will generally be expected to be in our Head office (based in Preston, Lancashire) at least 60% of the time (average 3 out of 5 days per working week), with flexibility given to accommodate business and personal needs.
