Preston Vocational Centre (PVC), part of the Community Gateway Association, is hiring a Student Support Mentor for 18 hours per week (Wed, Thu and Fri, 8.30am–3.00pm), 39 weeks/year. Salary £27,843.33 pro rata (£11,761.06 per annum) on a fixed-term 12-month contract.
The role provides intensive pastoral support, works with diverse learners, maintains records, and supports safeguarding and compliance. PVC emphasizes practical learning and session-based assistance.
