Surveyor - Stock Condition
37 hours per week, based in Preston
Β£40,458.69 per annum
You'll be a part of our Asset Management team, a range of skilled trades people who carry out planned and responsive maintenance in both tenanted and empty properties. We have around 7000 properties across Preston, Fylde and South Ribble.
The overall purpose of this role is to undertake surveys and inspections to Community Gateway housing stock, ensuring standards and regulatory requirements are fully met, with specific focus on stock condition, HHSRS and Decent Homes.
What we are looking for:
You'll have a driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business use.
You'll have significant experience of conducting surveys to assess the condition of housing stock and collect accurate data on building components, defects and future investment.
You'll have knowledge of residential construction, Decent Homes Standards, HHSRS, damp and mould issues and planned maintenance.
You'll have strong communication skills with the ability to engage professionally and support effective asset management and investment planning decisions.
You'll have a Level 3 qualification in a building related subject or a trade qualification.
It would be great if you also had:
Previous experience of working in Social Housing and using Asset Management Systems.
Proactive approach to improving data quality and supporting long-term asset management strategies.
