Job Description

Multi-Skilled Technician - (Plastering)

Plasterer

37 hours per week, based in Preston

£35,658.37 per annum (£18.48 per hour)

What will you be doing in this role?

You'll be a part of our Asset Management team, a range of skilled trades people who carry out planned and responsive maintenance in both tenanted and empty properties. We have around 7000 properties across Preston, Fylde and South Ribble so you won't have to travel far. You'll have a CGA van to travel to and from work and to your jobs.

What we are looking for in you

We are looking for someone who shares our values and puts our tenants at the heart of all they do. We are looking for a team player with qualifications and experience in all aspects of plastering, who also has the ability to carry out other trade roles such as basic plumbing and tiling. You'll need a full manual driving licence as you'll be working all over Preston in our communities.

The main things:

  • You'll have at least NVQ L2 in plastering and a full manual driving licence.
  • You'll have excellent communication skills combined with a flexible ‘can do' attitude.
  • You'll produce work to a high standard with excellent attention to detail.
  • You should have a good understanding of health and safety regulations with the ability to follow and comply to risk assessments and method statements.
  • You'll be able to solve problems and suggest improvements.
