Help shape the future of Yorkshire’s rivers. Yorkshire Dales Rivers Trust is seeking a Treasurer and Trustee to provide strategic financial leadership and support the organisation’s governance. This is an opportunity to use your financial expertise to support a thriving environmental charity dedicated to improving water quality, biodiversity and river habitats across the Yorkshire Dales.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial oversight as a member of the Board of Trustees.
- Chair the Finance Committee and Remuneration Committee, helping ensure strong governance and financial sustainability.
- Work closely with the Chair, CEO and Finance Manager to support budgeting, financial planning, risk management and compliance.
- Contribute to the growth and long-term success of a respected environmental charity making a tangible difference to rivers and communities.
Details
- Time commitment: Approximately 4–8 hours per month, including board meetings, committee meetings and periodic financial reviews.
- Location: Hybrid, with attendance at meetings and key Trust events.
- Term: Initial three-year appointment.
