The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.

As Community Fibre’s network expands, the rapid growth increases operational demands. The Warehouse Person will support daily warehouse activities involving receipt, inventory, picking, and dispatch of products and materials related to network deployment and utilisation. The role ensures that warehouse systems, processes, and procedures are followed and continuously improved to support efficient operations.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Adhere to procedures to monitor and manage inventory and assets, including goods receipting and inventory tracking (inbound, outbound, transfers)
  • Oversee all warehouse activities, including stock management, scheduling, health and safety, and return procedures
  • Maintain accurate daily stock records and inventory levels in integrated WMS systems
  • Inspect and approve the quality and quantity of goods or equipment received and shipped out
  • Enforce safety, health, and security procedures
  • Communicate and interact with clients, vendors, suppliers, and customers
  • Coordinate logistics of receipting, warehousing, and dispatch operations

The experience we’re looking for you to bring:

Essential

  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Proficient IT skills, including good working knowledge of Excel and Outlook
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to communicate at all levels
  • Experience in a warehouse/stores environment
  • Strong prioritisation and time‑management skills

Desirable

  • Experience in a direct‑to‑consumer operation, from conception through delivery and continuous improvement
  • Forklift licence (pivot and/or counterbalance)
  • Knowledge and experience of WMS systems and their integration and development in the workplace

Working Conditions

Role: 0700‑1600, Monday to Friday, primarily warehouse based with occasional office tasks; travel between facilities may be required (transport provided as needed). Professional conduct expected at all times, including high standards of written and verbal communication via email, instant messaging, direct or conference calls, and use of reporting tools and project management applications.
