This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. You will be required to cover variable days and weekends to meet business needs.

We are on an exciting journey in expanding our services into Endoscopy. Our services will include gastroscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, and haemorrhoidal banding.
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Endoscopy HCA to join the team. As an Endoscopy HCA, you will work alongside the Endoscopy team, to support in providing patient centric care, participating in admission assessments, recovery monitoring and care and endoscope decontamination during the entire pathways for all patients, depending upon training and competency.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Be responsible for decontamination and maintaining the supply of endoscopes to JAG decontamination standards.
- Help prepare clinical areas for clinical activities.
- Ensure the smooth running of the Endoscopy Unit and procedure lists by maintaining a “can do” attitude.
- Assist with stock management, equipment checking before use and safe storage after use.
- Keep up to date with good practice, maintain core competencies and continue to develop skills appropriate to Endoscopy practice.
- Adhere to good record keeping in line with corporate policies and procedures.
