About the Role

CHEC is looking to recruit an experienced dermatology clinician to join our team and support the continued growth of our community dermatology services. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and manage a wide range of adult dermatological conditions that would otherwise be referred to secondary care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist dermatology consultations and manage adult dermatology conditions independently.
  • Deliver rapid access to specialist opinions and high‑quality care within community clinics.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in continuous professional development.

Eligibility & Essential Requirements

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
  • Diploma in Dermatology (or recognised equivalent)
  • Hospital‑based Dermatologists working at Registrar or Staff Grade level – must provide supporting evidence of training and inclusion on a UK Performers List (any UK list is acceptable).
  • GPs with a recognised Diploma in Dermatology and strong dermatology experience – must provide personal indemnity fully covering all patient care delivered under this agreement.
  • Valid DBS certificate issued within the last 12 months.
  • Proof of current NHS employment.
  • Personal indemnity fully covering all patient care delivered under this agreement, date and evidence of the most recent appraisal.
