The role holder will lead the development of sales enablement programmes, referral growth campaigns, educational engagement initiatives and local market activation that drive business performance and strengthen CHEC's position as a trusted NHS partner.
They will act as the marketing lead for healthcare professionals, shaping targeted strategies for Optometrists, GPs, ICBs, Primary Care Networks, Local Optical Committees and other key referral stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own the annual growth marketing plan and translate commercial goals into actionable programmes.
- Identify opportunities to increase referrals, market share and stakeholder engagement.
- Develop targeted growth plans and campaigns for priority territories.
- Lead planning, delivery and optimisation of multi‑channel campaigns across paid, social, email, web, PR and events.
- Partner with sales teams to create toolkits, presentations and materials that support referral acquisition and retention.
- Build targeted engagement programmes for Optometrists, GPs, LOCs, PCNs and other referrers.
- Improve segmentation, nurture journeys, automation and personalised stakeholder communications.
- Monitor referral performance, build dashboards and provide actionable recommendations.
- Own the CHEC value proposition, develop audience‑specific messaging and ensure brand consistency.
- Build strong internal relationships and manage external agencies and suppliers.
Qualifications
- Degree level qualification or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business or Communications, or significant relevant experience.
- Significant experience in a growth, campaign or marketing management role.
- Experience developing and delivering integrated multi‑channel campaigns.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of customer acquisition.
- Experience managing marketing budgets and performance.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and reporting capability.
- Experience working with CRM and marketing automation platforms.
- Ability to interpret data and translate insight into action.
- Experience briefing and managing agencies and suppliers.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of Hub Spot or equivalent CRM platform.
