At CHEC, we're passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred healthcare services within local communities. Due to ongoing service demand, we're looking for experienced Practitioners in Minor Operations to join our bank workforce across Essex.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within our dermatology service, supporting clinicians during minor surgery clinics and contributing to excellent patient outcomes throughout the patient journey.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Dermatology Practitioner, you'll play a key role in the safe and effective delivery of patient care by:
- Supporting clinicians during dermatology and minor operations clinics
- Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring equipment is clean, safe and ready for use
- Acting as a chaperone during examinations and procedures
- Assisting with patient assessments, care delivery and discharge processes
- Providing patients with clear post-procedure advice and information
- Handling and preparing histology samples in accordance with procedures
- Supporting infection prevention and control standards
- Ensuring a positive, professional and compassionate patient experience at all times
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Current registration with the NMC or HCPC
- Experience supporting dermatology procedures and/or minor operations within a clinical, community or hospital environment
- Strong understanding of patient care, safety and clinical governance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
