We are currently seeking an experienced GP or Specialty Doctor with a passion for minor surgical procedures to support the delivery of our community minor surgery service across Location. This sessional position offers a flexible opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care and support the growth of CHEC’s community-based services.

CHEC is looking to recruit an experienced clinician to join our team and support the continued growth of our community minor surgery services. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, performing a range of minor surgical procedures including excisions, biopsies, cyst removals, and suturing. Our service provides patients with rapid access to specialist care in a community setting, including pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-up, while maintaining high standards of safety and infection control.
We welcome applications from:
- GPs with a specialist interest in minor surgery
- Accredited GPwERs or GPwSI in Dermatology who perform minor surgery
- Hospital-based doctors with relevant specialty training in Dermatology, General Surgery, or Plastic Surgery
Essential requirements:
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
- Diploma in Dermatology
- Demonstrable experience working in dermatology
- Hospital-based dermatologists must provide supporting evidence of relevant training
- Personal indemnity fully covering all patient care delivered under this agreement
- Evidence and date of most recent appraisal
