What difference will you make? As part of our leadership, you will support and shape our work, growth, and strategic direction, and help us achieve our purpose of promoting sustainability through locally generated and locally owned renewable energy.

Responsibilities
  • Support and shape the organization’s strategic progression.
  • Act as Treasurer: manage all finance‑related tasks, including recording, reconciliation, tracking and banking of grants and contracts; checking payments, administering invoices; keeping projects to budget; maintaining all records.
  • Manage the large grant to prepare a new solar energy project on a local education site, ensuring successful delivery to launch the project for community ownership in 2026.
Qualifications & Skills

We are looking for a candidate with strong accountancy skills and experience, and a keen interest in pioneering climate‑mitigating actions. Prior experience in community energy projects or similar is desirable but not required, as we are part of a network of experienced groups.
