As the Health and Safety Officer at St Mungo’s, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the organisation meets its legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations while fostering a culture of safety and wellbeing for all stakeholders.
In this role you will:
- Provide advice, conduct audits and inspections, monitor incidents, and support the development and implementation of health and safety policies.
This role requires you to work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in Tower Hill, London. This allows for in-person collaboration, team building, and other relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for agile working for the rest of your week; from home, or other St Mungo’s London or regional locations.
We are seeking an attentive and proactive Health and Safety Officer with a strong focus on detail and quality. The ideal candidate would possess excellent communication skills and the ability to provide timely and high-quality advice on health and safety matters. They should demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and be able to collaborate effectively with senior team members to ensure compliance and address any areas of concern. Above all, we are looking for someone who shares our dedication to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all stakeholders.
You will ideally have a minimum qualification of a NEBOSH general certificate.
