Main duties of the job
The role of Systems Administrator supports the Operational Manager in maintaining the patient administration functions, managing activity information and producing reports when required by the Business Service Authority (BSA). The post holder will collate data for performance monitoring meetings and for the CDS clinical governance programme. The post holder will ensure patient charges are collected and processed according to CDS finance procedures and liaise with, respond to and take action as required by IT managers.
Applicants will have experience of providing administrative support to an operational team and will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages. You will be able to use appropriate software to manipulate data, produce documents, reports and spreadsheets. There will be a requirement to undertake other administrative duties including diary management and taking accurate minutes at operational meetings and distributing accordingly. Experience of dental software systems will be a great advantage together with knowledge of how to submit dental claims and patient changes.
