Main duties of the job:

  • As a Senior Dental Nurse, you will take the clinical and managerial lead of dental nurses and receptionists, including timetabling, recruitment, training and supervision and supporting clinical governance programmes.
  • You will undertake dental nursing and reception duties within your job role.
  • Excellent organisational, leadership and oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Certificates in Dental Radiography and Conscious Sedation would be an advantage.
  • Flexibility is required with regard to working hours and locations to cover the full range of sessions worked within the service, which may on occasion include Saturday or Sunday.
  • Post holders will be expected to provide support at other clinics when necessary; therefore, ability to travel is essential.
