Main duties of the job:
- As a Senior Dental Nurse, you will take the clinical and managerial lead of dental nurses and receptionists, including timetabling, recruitment, training and supervision and supporting clinical governance programmes.
- You will undertake dental nursing and reception duties within your job role.
- Excellent organisational, leadership and oral and written communication skills are required.
- Certificates in Dental Radiography and Conscious Sedation would be an advantage.
- Flexibility is required with regard to working hours and locations to cover the full range of sessions worked within the service, which may on occasion include Saturday or Sunday.
- Post holders will be expected to provide support at other clinics when necessary; therefore, ability to travel is essential.
