Main duties of the job
As a Senior Dental Nurse you will take the clinical and managerial lead of dental nurses and receptionists, including timetabling, recruitment, training and supervision. You will undertake dental nursing and reception duties within your job role and you will also work with others delivering Lincolnshire mobile services. Excellent organisational, leadership and oral and written communication skills are required. Certificates in Dental Radiography and Conscious Sedation would be an advantage. Flexibility is required with regard to working hours to cover the full range of sessions worked within the service, which may on occasion include Saturday or Sunday. Post holders will be expected to provide support at other clinics when necessary; therefore, the ability to travel is essential.
