About the Role

Community Dental Services CIC (CDS) is seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Clinical Governance, Education and Workforce Development Coordinator to support the delivery of our Clinical Governance Framework, Learning Academy and Workforce Development Strategy. This diverse role combines governance, quality, patient safety, complaints management, education, training and workforce development activities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support CQC, NHS and quality assurance compliance activities.
  • Coordinate governance, health & safety and quality meetings.
  • Manage complaints, compliments and patient experience processes.
  • Support audits, risk management and quality improvement programmes.
  • Coordinate clinical education, mandatory training and workforce development initiatives.
  • Produce reports, dashboards and compliance information.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical, operational and corporate teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

About You

  • Degree level qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working within healthcare administration, governance, quality, education or workforce development.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
  • Ability to analyse information and manage competing priorities.
  • Understanding of governance, audit, patient safety and quality improvement principles.
  • Commitment to learning, development and delivering high-quality services.
