Great Bay Community College is seeking qualified applicants who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis; strong academic background is required.
Semester: Fall 2025 Semester
The instructor will be responsible for helping to prepare and to teach an 8-week hospitality management course. The instructor must be familiar with teaching in a blended learning environment using a variety of platforms, including Zoom. The instructor must be available to teach on campus.
Course: HOS150 Hotel Operations; HOS235 Food & Beverage Operations
Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and may require in classroom or online instruction. The compensation rate is $800-$950 per contact hour [or $47.95 - $59.45 per clinical rate per hour if applicable]. Compensation will be determined based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
The minimum qualifications for the position are as follows:
- Education: Master’s degree from a recognized college or university majoring in hospitality or a similar field.
- Experience: Two (2) years' professional experience in the field of hospitality.
