SUBJECTS:

• Introductory chemistry
• General chemistry
• Organic chemistry
• Chemical technology

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teach lectures in various chemistry courses including introductory chemistry, general chemistry, organic chemistry, and/or chemical technology.
• Lectures will typically be in-person at the Warwick, Lincoln, Newport, or Providence campus although there may be opportunities for distance learning lectures.
• Teach laboratory sections of introductory chemistry, general chemistry, organic chemistry, and/or chemical technology and maintain a safe laboratory environment for students and staff.
• Grade applicable class and lab work.
• Use Blackboard Learning Management System to upload work and grades for class.
• Optionally participate in departmental and college-wide meetings.

• Use advanced technologies to expand student resources and learning opportunities.
• Assess student learning according to best practices in measurement of student performance objectives and outcomes.
• Demonstrate creativity and flexibility in pedagogical approaches to a diverse population of students and peers.
